POSITION DUTIES
- Perform tire/material testing as required
- Perform tire cutting/measuring as required
- Able to operate forklift and gripper attachment.
- Mold room surveillance and curing press setup.
- Scheduling cure analysis check-tire preparation and measurement.
- Able to identify deviations from approved procedures and take appropriate corrective actions to keep production process within specified tolerances.
- Report all discrepancies to Manager or Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance
- Coordinate with production/maintenance/engineering teams on items requiring corrective action.
- Monitor and record deviations from specifications. Report to QC Manager with data.
- Perform Quality Audits related to the tire retreading process.
- Monitor and perform calibration as scheduled. Update calibration logs.
- Must be familiar with entire retreading process.
- All other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Valid driver's license High School Diploma, or 6 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or graphical form. Exceptional internal/external customer service skills
