Job Summary:
he Final Test Lab Inspector is responsible for performing final inspection and functional testing of sub-assemblies, AC and DC motors, and brush and brushless fan products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements prior to shipment. This role verifies product performance, identifies nonconformances, documents test results, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest levels of product quality and reliability. This position requires the incumbent to have experience working with high voltage equipment. Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform final visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of sub-assemblies, AC motors, DC motors, and brush/brushless fan assemblies. Conduct electrical and mechanical performance testing using approved test equipment and procedures. Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, test standards, and customer requirements. Test motor and fan performance characteristics including voltage, current draw, RPM, airflow, noise, vibration, rotation direction, and operational functionality. Inspect wiring, connectors, solder joints, fasteners, and assembly workmanship for quality and compliance. Record and maintain accurate inspection and test data within quality records and databases. Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials, assemblies, or test failures. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to investigate and resolve quality issues. Verify calibration status and proper operation of inspection and test equipment. Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to product failures and quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and testing environment. Support the Quality Lab when not testing. Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by quality manager or top management. Basic Qualifications/Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an electric motor manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical certification or Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in product testing, quality inspection, electronics manufacturing, motor assembly, or related manufacturing environment preferred. Experience testing AC/DC motors, fans, electromechanical assemblies, or electrical products is highly desirable. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical testing methods. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and test procedures. Proficiency with electrical test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, tachometers, and airflow measurement devices. Understanding of AC and DC motor operation, brushless motor technology, and fan performance characteristics. Familiarity with quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Basic computer skills and experience with ERP, MES, or quality management systems preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manufacturing environment with moderate noise. Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. Frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting and lifting up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools are essential. Pay:
