Our people are Shaping Industry from the Inside. Job Description Performs testing on production and requested samples to required test methods.
Job Type:
Full time, onsite Responsibilities Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures Perform physical testing on fabrics in accordance with ASTM, Federal, Military, AATCC, company and/or customer test methods Enter test data into database and clearly communicate results to required personnel Maintain testing equipment, performing periodic calibration checks, as required Maintain lab records, including storage of records and sample retains, per procedure Answer inquires regarding test results and factors that influence test results All other duties, as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Two years' experience in a quality function Pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check required Successful candidate will have strengths in the following: Ability to effectively work in a team-based environment (team-oriented) Motivated and willingness to learn and efficiently allocate time Effective attention to detail Flexible, capable of adapting to changes within the department and/or process Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Capable of working in a fast-paced environment Self-starter and capable of working with minimum supervision Dependable Capable of maintaining high standards Capable of working/standing on feet for long periods of time Associate is expected to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, press, grasp, grip, and stretch during the process Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
