Quality Technician I#26-16836 $14.80-$17.80 per hour Wilmington, NC Onsite Job Description Our client, is a Business Manufacturing And Supply company, is looking for a Quality Technician I for their Wilmington, NC location.
Responsibilities:
The Division Quality Process Technician supports manufacturing quality performance by analyzing processes, data, and product quality metrics to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements. This role partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to identify root causes of quality issues, support disposition decisions, and implement sustainable improvements that strengthen process capability and product quality. Prepare the plant for new product codes and experiments by setting up the correct specifications and wareflow Disposition of ware by application of attribute quality architectures or PQA by querying and analyzing data. Disposition of ware on quality holds by querying and analyzing data or completing experiments. Improve efficiency of production operation by supporting efforts in understanding processes, measurement capability and product quality architecture. Participating in MSAs Supports root cause analysis on products and processes not meeting specified requirements. Works with manufacturing and engineering on completing sustainable solutions which are compliant with our quality system and customer agreements. Provides training to employees, as needed (Quality systems, New procedures, Corrective Actions, etc.). Prepare status reports when needed.
Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years as process/quality technician in manufacturing environment. Experience with data collection and data analysis software and techniques, including Excel, Access, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent observational and analytical skills Attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks at once Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization Ability to work in teams or independently JMP or Minitab or SPC XL PI Good verbal and written skills Demonstrates integrity; inspires trust; Inspires confidence Customer focused, quality minded Moves the needle (self-starter, strong work ethic, Strong results orientation) Strong data orientation; inquisitive Highly organized Quick learner
