1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Provide leadership and support for operational governance, includes Servicing and Fulfillment, to optimize executional excellence and promote exceptional operational risk management. Maintain specialization and expertise in specific areas of governance, including regulatory requirements, legal requirements, quality assurance, policy and procedures oversight, control oversight, issues management, redress management, and change risk management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Serve as a liaison to Governance and Controls Officers, Compliance, Audit, and Legal to ensure timely and consistent Issues Management and risk remediation strategies. 2. Work with process owners to design adequate, effective operational controls. 3. Manage Issues ensuring consistent tracking of findings, appropriate updates, remediation plan effectiveness and timelines, compilation and sufficiency of evidence, completion and management of traceability matrix. 4. Manage timely redress activities and reporting. 5. Manage internal controls, including control language updates and control owner updates as applicable. 6. Ensure process changes are implemented and working as designed, including applicable controls. 7. Manage policy and procedure updates ensuring applicable regulations are cited and controls are referenced. 8. Serve as single point of contact for auditing/ testing exams a. Walkthrough preparation and coordination i. Process maps ii. PPMs iii. SMEs iv. System Demos b. Population gathering and sample compilation c. Coordinate responses and rebuttals as needed 9. Design, implement, and perform Internal Control testing and first and second level Quality Audits.QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. College degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience 2. 6 years of experience in Financial Services industry, preferably in Risk Management, or equivalent education 3. Demonstrated strength in understanding of risk management and process management concepts 4. Strong writing ability 5. Strong knowledge of Retail/Consumer Lending products 6. Strong knowledge of Bank regulations and effective risk management practices in Banking. 7. Strong knowledge and advanced skill set in Microsoft tools to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point 8. Demonstrated leadership ability, problem solving, and decision making skills 9. Strong analytical, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated strength in relationship management 10. Strong written, verbal and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
