ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a temporary position for the Gillickson Pit on Highway 85. Duties may include using radio, telephone, or computer to transmit assignments, compiling statistics and reporting on work progress. Provides customer service face to face interaction and over the phone. Tickets and weighs trucks in a fast-paced environment. Work schedule during summer months is expected to be 40-50 hours per week with some Saturday shifts required. During the off season, work hours may be reduced and can be flexible.DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
(summary of components that make up the job) Assist with scheduling and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones. Answering the phone to provide accurate and timely information to customers in a courteous and professional manner. Confer with customers, supervisors, contractors, or other personnel to exchange information or to resolve problems. Clear and effective communication skills are necessary. Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules/report any safety issues immediately to coordinate a resolution. Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories. Receive or prepare work orders. Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information. Relay work orders, messages, and safety related information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors using telephones or two-way radios. Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments. Assist with cleaning scale house including the restrooms. Performs other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Able to work independently and under time constraints. Ability to multi-task and work quickly. Time management & leadership skills. Strong attention to detail. Physical stamina and safety knowledge. Problem-solving & critical thinking skills.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
(minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements) High school diploma or General Education Degree required. Ability to use basic office equipment, including computer, fax machine, photocopier and 10-key calculator Ability to provide and maintain proper driving license and acceptable driving record.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
