Mon-Fri - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Certification:
Active
IPC-A-610
Certification is required.
Experience:
2+ years of experience analyzing SMT and THT board assemblies.
Blueprint Savvy:
Proven ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerance specs.
Tech Skills:
Comfortable identifying components, using standard inspection tools, and logging data into computers.
Physical:
Comfortable sitting for long periods, utilizing a microscope, and lifting up to 25 lbs. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Precision Inspection:
Visually inspect PCB assemblies, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and Through-Hole Technology (THT) components for 100% compliance using a microscope (10-20X magnification).
First Article Verification:
Conduct first article inspections on new production runs using blueprints and work instructions.
Keep It Accurate:
Catch, log, and document all defects meticulously to ensure zero-defect shipping.
