Quality Inspector

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for certifying incoming material and outgoing products to ensure compliance with their requirements. The Quality Inspector will be required to utilize electronic manufacturing and data systems to facilitate and document their daily work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Read drawings and specifications to understand the inspection criteria. Use basic precision measuring tools for part inspection, e.g. calipers and depth gages. Perform periodic checks and/or calibration of inspection tools based on the requirement Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications Generate inspection reports per company's requirement Document material and product nonconformances Document NCRs for products or materials that do not meet customer requirements Generate inspection worksheets through 1Factory when needed Help other areas or teams if needed

Required Skills:

Ability to read and interpret dimensions and tolerances on drawings. Experience using precision measuring tools. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills. Intermediate skillset for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Ability to work in a team-driven environment and autonomously. Familiarity with Micro-Hite and CMM operation is a plus. Experience calibrating precision measuring tools is a plus.
