Inspection of manufactured material to company quality standardsTraining of manufacturing personnel to uphold company quality standardsWork in teams to define and implement robust process controls/error proofing solutions that ensure product conforms to specification and performance standardsInvestigate as an individual nonconforming material, root cause, and present findings to vendors and production lines in a well documented format80%+ of time spent working independently in a plant manufacturing settingOther duties as requiredAdditional overtime as required with notice, typically limited to Monday-FridayQualificationsBeing able to work as needed in a group and individual settingAbility to visually inspect parts and distinguish between conforming and nonconforming parts per guidelinesAbility to make decisions by self and support with documentationEffective written and verbal communication skills with team members, departments, and vendorsStrong organization skillsAbility to multi-task and manage stressful situationsAble to prioritize tasks in an efficient manner in order to meet deadlinesAbility to perform mathematical calculations as necessaryStrong commitment toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday, overtime as designatedDUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESThe Harvey Quality Assurance Technician III role is responsible for daily checks on key equipment and processes to ensure adherence to documented guidelines. Timely response to problems on the manufacturing floor as well as follow up root cause and corrective actions is critical to positive performance. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).2 - 5 years Quality OR Manufacturing experience in a non-electronics/non-food settingExperience using Measuring Equipment (Tape Measure Required and Calipers preferred)Basic knowledge in use of inspection equipment and reading technical drawingsBasic knowledge of quality systems and tolerances (+/-, passible defects, etc)Strong interest in process improvement and problem solvingStrong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)Must be able to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate levelAdditional InformationSite Address:
