Soldering / Assembly Manager Job Summary Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Final Inspector for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Nashua, NH. This position is responsible for performing first article and final inspections on circuit board assemblies, SMT assemblies, through-hole assemblies, mechanical assemblies, and final assembly products to ensure conformance to customer and internal specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience inspecting electronic assemblies, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of
IPC-A-610
standards. This role requires the ability to identify defects, communicate quality issues in real time, and verify that corrective actions are effective. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform product inspections using magnified visual aids, CircuitCam, work instructions, drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Conduct First Article Inspection and Final Inspection on assigned final assembly products.
  • Inspect circuit board assemblies, SMT components, through-hole assemblies, mechanical assemblies, and other electronic assemblies for quality and conformance.
  • Verify products meet
IPC-A-610
standards, internal specifications, and customer technical data package requirements.
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects to the appropriate departments in real time.
  • Re-inspect products after adjustments or rework to confirm corrections are effective.
  • Support the SMT Inspection department as needed.
  • Perform process control through systematic defect analysis during production.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
  • Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a team-focused work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Required Skills and Qualifications
IPC-A-610
certification or strong working knowledge required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in SMT inspection, final inspection, or electronics assembly inspection preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit board assembly, surface mount components, through-hole components, and related inspection practices.
  • Experience inspecting SMT, through-hole, mechanical, and final assembly products.
  • Ability to use magnification tools and inspection aids to identify defects.
  • Experience using CircuitCam or similar electronic work instruction/inspection tools preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, documentation, drawings, and customer technical requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections in a production environment.
  • Ability to communicate defects clearly and professionally to production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and write English for documentation and work instruction purposes.
  • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
Work Environment This position is performed in an electronics manufacturing environment and may require sitting or standing for extended periods while inspecting small components and assemblies using magnification tools. #IND3
