Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector Conduct full open-setup inspection of parts and roaming inspections of finished machined parts throughout the shop Set up, calibrate, and perform R&R studies on gauges Partner with various teams to address and resolve issues Train machinists and quality inspectors Maintain documentation Perform additional tasks as required Qualifications of the Quality Inspector 2+ years in a manufacturing quality systems role High school diploma, GED, or equivalent field experience Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint interpretation, layout inspection, and various inspection gauges methods and technologies Knowledge of ISO-9001 and AS9100 quality management systems Knowledge of Gage Trak functions, CMM operation, and PPAP preferred Positive, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer skills The Quality Inspector works Monday through Friday from 2:30pm-11:00pm.
