Job Description
Job Summary:
A Quality Control Technician is a key member of the Quality Control team and is responsible for inspecting incoming product to ISO9001, AS9120 andANSI/ESD S2020
standard and sampling plan. This position plays a vital role in supporting the overall objectives of the QC department by performing the following key responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Inspection:
Fully inspect product in accordance with vendor approval and system ranking into ISO9001, AS9120, andANSI/ESD S2020
standard and sampling plan. The Quality Inspection consists of visual inspection of product packaging and labels, verification of ordered quantity, verification of moisture barrier protection, microscope inspection of product (marking, leads, body), Surface permanency testing, Xray inspection of die structure and XRF inspection for RoHS compliance.Operation of Machinery:
A Quality Technician must be able to initiate start up and shut down procedures for all machinery in the Quality Lab. They must also be able to operate the different machinery in order to validate whether the product is new/unused/authentic and to complete the Quality Inspection Report.Establishing Quality Control Records:
The Quality Inspection Report must be submitted for Management approval. The Report must be attached to the product lot in the system for ease of reference. Product information (country of origin, date code, lot code) must be entered into the system.Review of Documentation:
A Quality Technician must make use of manufacturer datasheets and drawings in order to determine the authenticity of product. They must check the product against databases (GIDEP and ERAI) and record findings. Customer specific requirements should be reviewed and any non-conformances noted in the Quality Report.Communication of Issues:
Any non-conformities or concerns must be documented in the report and reported to Management and the representative salesperson. Any recommendations for packaging, tape and reeling, or baking must also be reported to Management.Marking and Packaging:
Product repackaged in accordance withANSI/ESD S2020
standard with moisture indicator and desiccant regardless of MSL level. Product resealed and marked with appropriate internal label along withROHS, PB
Free and ESD sensitive labels. All product MSL 2 or higher must be labeled stating baking requirements.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Experience:
1-2 years of related experience Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint/Outlook/Word)Skills:
