Performance Driven Job Summary:
The Quality/HSE Technician is responsible for the quality of production, oversees the HSE systems in place, and maintaining the records management and its ISO accreditation(s). This position also maintains safety protocols and assists in product development, improvement, and manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Quality / ISO o Understand customer expectations and the needs for each product o Checks daily production records for accuracy and completeness o Provide customers with CoA documentation as required o Develop/maintain quality control processes for materials and manufactured goods § Examine the quality of raw materials that are used in production § Reject products that fail quality standards o Evaluate final output of products to determine their quality (Quality Audits) § Provide testing for manufactured products o Oversee Customer Complaints, Internal Non-conformances, and Vendor Complaints o Manage calibration programs o Produce statistical reports on quality standards o Report quality standard issues to upper management o Present annual management review related to quality o Oversee the Business Management System § Organize, maintain, and revise all quality documents and records o Schedule, maintain, and conduct ISO accreditation audits • HSE o Maintain facilities compliance with all EPA, NHDEP, and other agencies o Conduct monthly facility inspections as required § Personnel safety § Fire and flammability risk § Other as needed or required o Maintain and update safety programs for the plant § Schedule and track all employee training § Conduct safety training for new and current employees § Responsible for facility inspections and testing § Ensure all procedures and documents are OSHA compliant § Ensure all safety stations and supplies are up to code • Manufacturing o Design/revise product specifications and ensure they are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards o Monitor and evaluate production processes o Improve production efficiency and waste management o Work directly with production to improve workflow throughout the facility
Minimum Education, Training & Work Experience :
Two years related work experience in quality oversite / HSE in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar
  • Knowledgeable in HSE regulations and requirements
  • Proficient in Windows & Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be able to work as part of a team to increase efficiency and accuracy
