Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting completed products for conformance to specification. Inspections included are ID, OD, length and wall thickness using a ruler, snap gauge, laser mike, gauge pins or computer. Responsibilities include withdrawing samples as directed by internal or customer specifications. Inspect, measure and testing a variety of products, and maintaining quality control paperwork. Strict adherence to written procedures is a key part of our Quality System. Essential Functions
  • Inspect Single and Multi-Lumen Tubing
  • Run MicroVu Inspection program
  • Filling out inspection results paperwork
  • Detail oriented for identification and traceability
  • Maintaining Calibration of Equipment
  • High pace environment Competencies
  • Measuring with Ruler, Tape Measure
  • Using Micrometers, Calipers
  • MicroVu Inspection Equipment
  • Laser Micrometers
  • Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • ERP System
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work alone and take instruction
  • Communication proficiency
  • Demonstrate and promote teamwork on a consistent basis
  • Ability to work within a team environment and to accept supervision and guidance Required Education and Experience
  • Working knowledge of handheld inspection equipment
  • Basic knowledge of quality environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
  • instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work within team environment and to accept supervision and guidance
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills- MS Excel
  • Self-starter with the ability to work alone and take instruction
  • Ability to work within a team environment and to accept supervision and guidance
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office 365)
  • Self-starter with ability to work alone and take instruction High School Diploma or GED
  • Work Environment
  • This job operates in a Quality Control environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard equipment such as Computers, Micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
1-2 YEARS
OF MACHINIST EXPERIENCE
is a plus Physical Demands
  • The employee must frequently lift and|or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and|or move up to 55 pounds.
