Job Description

Quality Receiving Inspector M-F 8:30AM-5PM $20 - $21/hr. depending on experience
POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Receiving Inspector will be responsible for accepting incoming shipments into the warehouse along with performing visual, dimensional and documentation checks. The Quality Receiving Inspector will also be responsible for entering information into the company ERP system along with all necessary documentation
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives goods and verifies the count of all items Verifies part specifications Match shipments to their associated purchase orders, verify all information matches purchase orders and any special requirements listed Enter receiving data into the ERP system Maintains inventory data to ensure that vendor orders are updated and appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required Prepare and organize received stock for inventory Performs other related duties as assigned
NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPENTENCIES
: Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received Ability to convert between units of measurements Good organizational skills and attention to detail Data entry skills Strong reading and communication skills Ability to use Calipers, Micrometers, Rulers and other various measuring tools Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working in Quality/inspection environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours at a time Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Use carts, dollies and other gear to move items around
