Job Description

The Quality Inspection Supervisor leads and coordinates nondestructive and dimensional inspection activities within the Holtec Advanced Manufacturing Division, ensuring products meet applicable code, quality, and safety requirements. This role provides technical and people leadership across inspection functions, supporting manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams while driving consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across inspection operations.

Camden, NJ Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and assign NDE and dimensional inspection tasks to inspection personnel based on production priorities Ensure all NDE inspections (MT, PT, VT, and others as qualified) are performed in accordance with approved procedures, applicable industry codes, and customer requirements Review and approve inspection results, reports, and records prior to release Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve nonconformances, technical issues, and workflow challenges Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to provide technical insight regarding inspection requirements, methods, and outcomes Supervise the daily activities of NDE and dimensional inspection personnel Mentor, train, and develop inspection staff to support skill development and performance Ensure inspection personnel maintain all required certifications and training (SNT‑TC‑1A, internal qualifications, code updates, etc.) Conduct performance evaluations and participate in the selection and onboarding of new inspection personnel Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training strongly preferred 3+ years of NDE inspection experience, including 1+ years in a lead, supervisory, or mentoring role
ASNT SNT
‑TC‑1A Level II certifications in MT, PT, and VT required Strong understanding of industry codes, quality systems, and manufacturing processes Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments Experience with dimensional inspection tools and GD&T fundamentals (CMM, laser tracker, precision metrology) preferred Additional ASNT Level II certifications (UT or RT) preferred Experience in heavy fabrication, machining, or nuclear manufacturing environments preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital inspection or reporting systems A Generation Ahead by Design™Investing in people who power the future. Compensation Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $90,000 to $105,000
