Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a motivated Material Processing Assistant to join our industrial operations team. You will be instrumental in the efficient handling and preparation of recyclable materials, ensuring that our facility maintains high throughput and strict safety standards. Responsibilities Categorize and organize various metal and material grades to optimize recycling workflows. Utilize industrial processing tools and heavy machinery to prepare materials for transport. Facilitate the loading and unloading of inventory to ensure seamless supply chain movement. Uphold a high standard of site cleanliness to promote a safe and productive work environment. Execute all tasks in strict accordance with established safety protocols to mitigate workplace hazards. Coordinate with site personnel to achieve daily production targets and operational objectives. Monitor equipment performance and promptly escalate maintenance needs to management. Qualifications Required Skills Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy items consistently. Strong attention to detail for accurate material sorting and quality identification. Reliable communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Ability to work effectively in diverse environmental conditions. Preferred Skills High school diploma or equivalent certification. Prior experience in a warehouse, construction, or industrial labor setting. Foundational knowledge of OSHA safety practices and industrial hazard awareness.
