We're Hiring:
Jewelry Quality Assurance Specialist (NYC) At MARIA TASH, precision and craftsmanship are foundational to everything we create. We are seeking a Jewelry Quality Assurance Specialist to join our New York City team. This role sits at the intersection of Design, Product Development, and Production, ensuring that every piece meets our uncompromising standards-from initial production through post-sale experience. What You'll Do Quality Control & Inspection Perform detailed inspections of finished goods, components, and incoming shipments Authenticate products against design specifications and brand standards Identify defects, inconsistencies, and workmanship issues Process & Standards Maintain and refine quality control procedures and inspection guidelines Support development of scalable QC frameworks aligned with luxury standards Ensure consistency across all product lifecycle checkpoints Reporting & Analysis Track and report on quality metrics, trends, and recurring issues Translate findings into clear, actionable feedback for Design and Product teams Support adherence to product development timelines and standards Repair & Product Feedback Loop Analyze repair trends to identify root causes Provide structured feedback to improve durability and execution Support complex repair evaluations requiring technical judgment Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Design, Production, and Operations Act as a resource for materials, construction, and workmanship standards Who You Are 4+ years of experience in jewelry quality, production, or technical product roles Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and materials Exceptional attention to detail and visual inspection skills Able to interpret technical specifications and documentation Analytical, solutions-oriented, and highly organized Naturally aligned with a precision-driven, craftsmanship-focused environment Preferred Experience in luxury fine jewelry or body jewelry Bench jewelry or hands-on production experience Relevant technical training or certification Location New York City (On-Site) Our corporate office is located at 8 Crosby Street in SoHo-a beautifully designed space that reflects the craftsmanship and creativity of the brand.
