Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting pressure tests and inspections on all manufactured products, as well as performing incoming goods inspections. You will play a critical role in identifying non-conformances and reporting any issues directly to the Quality/BMS Manager to ensure the highest standards of product integrity.

No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesMain Duties & Responsibilities Inspect and pressure test machined, fabricated, electrical, and composite parts, reporting any issues found. Inspect, mark, and process specialized bladders from cell production through to final assembly and dispatch. Label inspected parts while accurately maintaining records in the ERP system and MS Excel logs. Support "buddy checks" within the engineering, moulding, and final assembly departments as required. Collaborate with the Quality team to deliver continual improvement and support Quality Control requirements across all production areas. Utilize hand metrology and electronic testing equipment for quality control parts. Produce detailed inspection reports on items requiring First Article Inspection (FAI). Maintain critical Quality Management System (QMS) logs, including those for serial numbers and bond viscosity. Assess customer-returned products before repair or recertification. Raise internal and supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs) and complete product improvement reports. Escalate quality issues to the correct party in a timely, efficient manner. Record all daily inspected/tested production and non-conforming activities against worksheets. Score the quality of internal and external manufacturing products to address areas of improvement via the cell scoring matrix.
