Part-Time / Seasonal Valenzano Winery welcomes guests year-round to our winery, outlet locations, festivals, and events throughout New Jersey. From relaxing afternoons in the Wine Pub to large-scale seasonal events and wine festivals, we strive to create memorable experiences while sharing our wines with guests across the state. We are currently seeking energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Winetenders to join our team for the season. This position primarily works at our Shamong location in the Wine Pub, while also supporting our Berlin and Columbus outlet locations and off-site festivals as needed. Successful candidates should be eager to learn our product lineup and become knowledgeable ambassadors for the Valenzano brand. Responsibilities Serve wine, food, and other menu items in the Wine Pub Serve and pour wine at our winery, outlet locations, festivals, and special events Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive guest experience Learn and maintain a strong knowledge of Valenzano wines, promotions, and seasonal offerings Recommend wines and assist guests with purchases Process transactions accurately through our point-of-sale system Assist with event setup, breakdown, and general operations as needed Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive work environment Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Availability Thursday through Sunday is required Availability on holidays and holiday weekends is required Previous hospitality, restaurant, retail, customer service, bartending, or wine industry experience is a plus Friendly, professional, and dependable Comfortable interacting with guests and working in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn about wine and winery operations (training provided) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to outlet locations and festivals when scheduled

Pay:

$15.00 - $30.00 per hour
