This role will drive continuous improvement, maintain certification compliance, and support manufacturing operations, and ensure the highest levels of product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) Manage internal and external audits including AS9100, customer, and regulatory audits Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications including AMS, NAS, ASTM, AS, and customer requirements Interface with customers on quality issues, audits, corrective actions, approvals, and quality performance matters Oversee inspection processes including First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102, in-process inspection, and final inspection Prepare

documentation packages for aerospace customers Oversee calibration systems and inspection equipment including micrometers, optical comparators, CMMs, thread gages, and related metrology equipment Oversee destructive testing operations including tensile, double shear, hardness, metallurgical, and fatigue testing to ensure compliance with customer specifications and aerospace standards Review and approve production travelers and manufacturing documentation to ensure dimensions, tolerances, specifications, inspection requirements, and process controls are accurate and compliant with engineering drawings and customer requirements Support manufacturing operations including forging, heat treat, centerless grinding, CNC machining, thread rolling, plating, and related aerospace fastener manufacturing processes Lead investigation and resolution of nonconformances, customer complaints, internal quality issues, and supplier discrepancies through structured corrective action processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Develop and track KPIs and quality objectives including scrap rate, rework rate, customer complaints, corrective actions, on-time delivery, and supplier performance Supervise, train, and develop quality personnel including inspectors and technicians Develop and oversee safety inspection programs and compliance activities to ensure adherence to OSHA requirements and company safety policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical field preferred; equivalent aerospace manufacturing and quality experience will be considered. 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing quality or quality management Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and aerospace manufacturing requirements Experience with precision machining, metal forming, and/or aerospace manufacturing processes Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and interpretation of engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5
Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective action, and organizational skills Experience managing nonconformances, audits, supplier quality, and customer quality requirements Strong communication and leadership skills Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work with ITAR- and EAR-controlled technical data without restriction Preferred:
Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102 and aerospace customer documentation requirements Experience with aerospace fastener standards and specifications including NASM, AS, MS, AMS, and customer-specific requirements Familiarity with heat treat, plating, dry film lubrication, cadmium processing, and other aerospace special processes Experience with destructive testing including tensile, fatigue, hardness, metallurgical, and double shear testing CMM programming and/or operation experience Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification or experience Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality tracking software Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred Pay:
