Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

• Adhering to the schedule set forth by the Taproom Manager and executing the duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Engaging with each patron directly, giving each the attention they deserve, and making them feel welcomed while working to meet their needs quickly and efficiently.
• Conforming to and enforce regulations set forth by the alcoholic beverage commission (double checking ID's, keeping strict records, curtailing overconsumption)
• Maintaining a clean bar, beer garden, taproom area
• Maintaining a pleasant environment at both bars (temperature, music, cleanliness, conduct) multi-tasking is a must.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse set of people.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to move full kegs with the use of a dolly.
• Grace under pressure
• Desire to learn the mechanical workings of taproom equipment in order to address problems quickly and efficiently.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires an individual who works under a range of circumstances, including: shift work, weekend work, working with challenging patrons, working in a fast paced environment, and working within proximity of an operating brewery (noise, obstacles, heavy equipment, odors related to the brewery process)

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Required to lift boxes, move empty/full kegs at times.

About us Sierra Blanca Brewing Co., Inc. is a family owned, small business in Moriarty, NM. We take pride in being one of New Mexico's oldest breweries garnering multiple awards for our brews and a wonderful following of craft beer fans. We started in a small facility in Carrizozo, NM in 1996 and have grown into a 12,000 square foot operation. We are located just 40 miles east of Albuquerque NM right off of Interstate 40. We have a full 1/2-acre beer garden featuring a horseshoe pit, ping pong table, bocci ball, tether ball, a beautiful gazebo right next to a little stream and pond, and BBQ grills as well! We have 20 taps with our brews, and local NM wines. craft soda for the kids too! Join our brew crew and enjoy a busy, fun work environment with paid vacation and a 401K savings program with a company match. We have two bars at our Moriarty location with a tap room and a larger bar in our 1/2 acre beer garden. This is a position with a starting pay of 7.50/hr +tips.
