Job Description

Overview Minden aerospace manufacturer is seeking seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Control team as an entry-level Quality Control Inspector. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in quality control and be part of a fast-paced, dynamic organization. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications. Salary $18-$23 per hour depending on experience. Benefits Excellent benefits after 90 days, including 15 days of PTO per year, 401(k) enrollment, 401(k) match and very low-cost health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family. Schedule The regular schedule is 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Some mandatory overtime expected, including Saturdays on occasion. The start and stop time may be modified upon hire/mutual agreement. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications Verify the accuracy of production documentation, including inspection reports and test results Collaborate with production and engineering personnel to resolve quality issues in a timely manner Check for any defects, such as cracks, chips, or other problems Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial gauges, and height gauges to inspect product dimensions Train to use Leica Laser Tracker and Romer Arm using Verisurf software Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results and findings Perform root cause analysis to identify and eliminate the source of quality issues Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive quality excellence Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve quality issues Basic knowledge of quality control principles and techniques Familiarity with Solidworks, ISO 9001, and AS9100 helpful Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to perform repetitive motions Please do not call or visit our business location until a company representative contacts you.
