Randstad is partnering with several of Long Island s premier manufacturing, consumer goods, and technology leaders to find detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors. salary:
$20 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4:30

High SchoolResponsibilities Product Inspections:
Perform comprehensive first-piece, in-process, and final pre-ship visual and structural inspections on raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Precision Metrology:
Skillfully utilize a variety of precision measurement tools-including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and go/no-go gauges-to check part dimensions against target specs.
Blueprint & SOP Audits:
Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to cross-reference dimensions and routing instructions.
Defect Documentation:
Accurately log inspection results, track production counts, and complete non-conformance or material rejection reports when parts fail to meet specifications.
Line Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with machine operators, assemblers, and production supervisors to identify the root causes of errors and prevent defects from repeating on the line.
