Job Description

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client is seeking an Eng. Multi-Discipline Technician I to support manufacturing and quality operations. This hands-on technical role focuses on inspection, measurement, quality assurance, and production support within a manufacturing environment.

Education:
Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements on incoming materials and manufactured components Verify compliance with engineering specifications, SOPs, and quality standards Identify and document non-conforming materials or process deviations Support production quality control activities and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain inspection records and quality documentation Calibrate and maintain measurement and inspection equipment Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues Promote and support workplace safety standards and procedures Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and SOPs Experience using hand measurement tools and inspection equipment Strong understanding of quality control processes and manufacturing practices Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing or industrial experience Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes Experience with metrology tools such as CMMs, vision systems, or 3D scanning Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software Additional Information No third party resumes will be accepted Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted CTG will consider for employment-qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
