Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician's responsibilities include assisting with the development of quality systems, procedures, and quality controls to ensure that products consistently meet performance and quality specifications. The Quality Assurance Technician is a strong technical resource who quickly, effectively, and permanently resolves quality problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned Review & understand blueprints, customer test requirements Set up & operate various testing and measurement equipment Support quality aspects of new process controls with cross functional teams Operate real time x-ray operation Perform and interpret test results Independent preparation of customer test and inspection reports Perform receiving inspection using inspection equipment/software Perform 1st article inspections, PPAPs, etc. Perform final product inspections Support multiple inspection projects simultaneously Coordinate with production control and operations to obtain parts and to ensure compliance with customer requirements May assist with equipment audits May be required to work occasional overtime
Qualifications:
High School education or GED equivalent; Technical Associates Degree preferred Experience with various test/measurement equipment Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System requirements a plus Must have demonstrated ability to solder; soldering certification preferred Must possess a basic understanding of electricity and electrical quantities, such as current, voltage, etc. Must have experience with computers & be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Must have good eyesight and hand eye coordination Internal candidates must have good disciplinary/attendance record

Expected Compensation :
$40,000
  • 60,000 annually Compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
