The Role:
We are currently seeking a Kit QC Inspector in Farmingdale, New York. The Kit QC Inspector opportunity is a full-time role with excellent healthcare benefits, 401k matching, and generous PTO. As a Kit QC Inspector at ICON, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of clinical trial kits used in research studies. You will be responsible for inspecting and verifying kit components, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards, contributing to the integrity of our clinical operations.
What You Will Be Doing:
Ensure the quality and correctness of all visit kits distributed to investigator sites. Inspect all visit kits according to SOPs prior to packing and transfer to the shipping department. Perform quality control of all visit kits as required by the SOPs. Ensure all errors are corrected & logged appropriately and inform the QC supervisor of any issues or delays. Achieve daily/weekly departmental Quota assigned.
Your Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred. 1+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related role. Basic computer skills including knowledge in MS Outlook, of MS Word, Excel and typing skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 30 pm at Farmingdale, NY on site. We are looking for people located in Long Island or Queens.
Hourly rate:
