Job Description

Randstad is currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for one of our premier clients located in Hauppauge, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing technical environment where precision and quality are the top priorities.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection (experience in a technical or electronic manufacturing setting is a plus).
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Tools:
Proficiency with standard measurement equipment (calipers, height gauges, etc.). Attention to
Detail:
An eagle eye for defects and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Communication:
Written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
salary:
$25 - $27 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4:30
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilities Inspection:
Perform detailed visual and mechanical inspections of components and finished assemblies.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including logs, reports, and non-conformance documents.
Measurement:
Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions against blueprints or schematics.
Compliance:
Ensure all processes adhere to internal quality manuals and industry-specific certifications.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the production team to identify the root causes of defects and suggest process improvements.
