Job Description

Position:
Quality Assurance•Associate.
Location:
Hicksville, New York.
Hours of Operation:
7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday•Friday.
Salary:
$20 /hr•$25 /hr + Health benefits.
Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our OTC pharmaceutical products. This includes managing training records, maintaining the QMS, and supporting the Quality Assurance department with production line inspections and packaging component inspections when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Assist with production line and packaging component inspections when necessary. Review, revise, and author standard operating procedures. Scan and archive department documents into the QMS.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline (ex. Chemistry, Biology) or related fields. 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in OTC or cGMP environments. Knowledge of FDA regulations, including 21 CFR parts 11, 210, and 211 preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Detail-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Punctual attendance.
