Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support product quality and reliability efforts for innovative technology products and solutions. This role combines inspection, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and quality support for electromechanical products including thermal printers and related technology solutions. Responsibilities Manage calibrated equipment to maintain
ISO 9001
compliance, including scheduling calibrations, maintaining records, and supporting calibration activities. Perform quality and reliability testing, including test setup, monitoring, data collection, and reporting. Perform functional, reliability, and qualification testing on thermal printers, subassemblies, and related products. Work with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to investigate product issues, customer returns, and material concerns. Inspect and measure materials against engineering specifications using calipers, micrometers, force gauges, torque analyzers, and other inspection equipment. Assist with creating, modifying, and maintaining test fixtures used for product testing. Perform cosmetic, assembly, and functional testing on incoming, reworked, and outgoing materials. Assist in troubleshooting product, firmware, and PC communication issues during testing and evaluation. Utilize ERP and inventory systems to manage quality inventory locations and material disposition. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to testing, inspection, and quality activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in a technical discipline preferred. 2-5 years of experience in product testing, inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or a related technical role. Experience using inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Experience troubleshooting products, equipment, or manufacturing issues. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality systems preferred. Experience with ERP, inventory systems, or databases preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work collaboratively across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
