The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical inspections of assemblies and sub-assemblies using documented test procedures. The role involves documenting test and inspection results in accordance with company procedures and performing dimensional inspection on products using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Responsibilities:
Conduct electrical inspections of assemblies and sub-assemblies using documented test procedures. Document test and inspection results in accordance with Company procedures. Perform dimensional inspection on products using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Perform visual and dimensional inspection on products per procedures. Perform first piece inspection and in-process inspections. Communicate with production supervisor / team leaders / operators regarding problems found during inspections. Write non-conforming material reports for defective products. Contribute to the continued development of test and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications:
Ability to conduct test procedures to published documents. Ability to operate dedicated test rigs. Ability to operate standard measuring equipment including DVM, Hi-Pot, Bonding resistance. Ability to work with minimum technical and administrative supervision. Background concerning the usage and care of precision measuring tools and equipment. Ability to effectively read and understand blueprints, engineering documents, inspection manuals and procedures in English. Must have experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in electrical / mechanical inspection. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
