Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team! The Quality Assurance Specialist works collaboratively with assigned departments within the organization to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements for an outpatient mental health program under an Article 31 license. The Quality Assurance Specialist partners with internal teams to implement controls, investigate potential violations, and maintain accurate documentation for reporting and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular compliance audits across organizational processes to ensure adherence to Article 31 regulations, OMH standards and internal policies Develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on company operations Provide training, guidance and support to employees on compliance standards and documentation Identify and investigate potential violations, incidents and compliance concerns and recommend corrective actions Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior management by compiling audit results, investigation outcomes, and performance data into clear and accurate reports Understanding both preventative and reactive measures for compliance violations
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing or healthcare operations within a mental health or behavioral health setting Knowledge of Article 31 regulations, OMH standards, HIPAA, and other applicable mental health compliance regulations preferred Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
