Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience th equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or reled to this position. To qualify the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or prive sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualificions, and any other regulory requirements by the cut-off/closing de of the announcement.
Creditable specialized experience includes:
Ensuring contract compliance with all requirements reled to the design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernizion of a variety of items. Identifying, understanding, proofing, measuring and analyzing contractor production process capability. Developing/implementing a surveillance plan th includes identificion of contractor and sub-contractor production needs. Performing audits and surveillance of contractors' process to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met. Upon deployment overseas, the employee temporarily promoted to the GS-13 grade level, if eligible, for the durion of the deployment. Upon return to CONUS the employee changed to lower grade to the permanent grade level. If you do not meet the Time in Grade or Specialized experience for the temporary promotion, you will deploy the lower grade level, GS-12. Once the four year commitment is successfully met you placed into a non-deployable position in the CMO for which you were hired the permanent GS-12 grade level.
