Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The manufacturing quality control liaison is responsible for monitoring garment production, conducting inspections, identifying quality issues, and ensuring finished products meet established specifications. This role will require direct communication between both GAME's internal customer service, GAME's internal QC department and the overseas manufacturing facility. This role will serve as the communication hub between all three departments. The role will require quick thinking and troubleshooting skills to ensure jackets are delivered correctly, timely and issues are mitigated at the development stage, as early as possible. Duties Communicate with Overseas vendor to ensure jackets and production is moving at the agreed upon rate. Communicate with Overseas vendors under the direction of customer service manager to ensure all productions protocols are being followed and production is out pacing expectations. Monitor all customer service issues and develop a plan with customer service manager on how to address issues with specific customer orders (ie: rushes, errors, etc) as well as delays, if there are any. Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Verify compliance with product specifications, measurement standards, workmanship requirements, and customer quality expectations. Inspect fabrics, trims, labeling, packaging, and finished garments for defects. Document inspection results and maintain quality records. Identify and document non-conforming products and assist with corrective actions. Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to resolve quality concerns promptly. Conduct random audits of production batches to ensure consistency. Ensure compliance with quality procedures and standards. Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred. Previous manufacturing or quality control experience preferred. Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment. Ability to identify workmanship defects, measurement discrepancies, and fabric issues. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
