Position Summary Geo-Sci is seeking a construction engineering technician to join our growing Cleveland team. We will help you develop a skillset to allow you opportunities to grow within the company and the industry. Typical Duties Travel to various jobsite locations throughout Northeast Ohio Communicate with on-site personnel Ensure compliance with construction site specifications Perform required sampling and testing Consult with project team regarding construction requirements Maintain assigned testing equipment Prepare required reports and timesheets Perform other projects and duties as assigned Perform lab work Maintain a high level of quality standard on all projects Requirements Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade 1 certification Valid driving license and good driving record Ability to do moderate lifting (40 lbs or more) and standing/walking for sustained periods of time May need to lift 80 lbs to waist height for short periods of time Must be able to work in all weather conditions Experience in construction materials testing a plus ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade 1 certification a plus We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, age, national origin, disability status, marital status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
