Job Summary The Engineering Technician supports the engineering and manufacturing teams by assisting with the development, testing, validation, and production support of aerospace components. This role bridges engineering design and shop-floor execution, ensuring parts and processes meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements typical of the aerospace industry. Responsibilities Support engineers in the development, validation, and improvement of aerospace parts and manufacturing processes Assist with prototype builds, first article inspections (FAI), and production trials Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, CAD models, and work instructions Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs (as applicable) Collect, analyze, and document test and production data Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing and quality issues on the shop floor Support continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, quality, and cycle time Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including work instructions and test reports Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA requirements, customer specs) Interface with quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams as needed Experience Associate degree or technical certificate in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering support role (aerospace preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Working knowledge of precision measurement tools Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work in a regulated, quality‑driven environmentPay:
