About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician / PCB Inspector to join our electronics manufacturing team in Brookville, Ohio. In this role, you will inspect printed circuit board assemblies and electronic components to ensure they meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and IPC workmanship expectations before shipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with PCB inspection or electronics manufacturing experience who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and high-quality work. The position also supports regulated manufacturing requirements, including ITAR and CMMC compliance procedures. What You'll Do As a Quality Control Technician / PCB Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of PCB assemblies, electronic components, and finished products
- Inspect SMT and through-hole assemblies to
IPC-A-610
workmanship standards
- Identify and document defects such as solder issues, component misalignment, physical damage, contamination, and workmanship concerns
- Review assembly drawings, bills of materials, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
- Document inspection results accurately and assist with non-conformance reports
- Maintain proper ESD-safe handling practices throughout the inspection process
- Communicate quality concerns clearly with production, engineering, customers, and vendors
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Follow procedures for handling controlled products, technical data, and sensitive customer information
- Maintain accurate records to support internal quality requirements, customer audits, and compliance activities
- Report potential quality or compliance concerns to the appropriate team members What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics, manufacturing, quality, or a related field
- Experience reading drawings, schematics, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of PCB inspection or electronics manufacturing experience
IPC-A-610
Certification
- Experience inspecting SMT and through-hole assemblies
- Experience using microscopes, magnifiers, and other inspection tools
- Familiarity with EMS manufacturing environments
- Basic understanding of ITAR, CMMC, or other regulated manufacturing requirements Work Environment

- Handling of sensitive electronic assemblies and controlled customer documentation
