Pay Range:
$18.00-$25.00/hour, plus $0.75/hour shift premium
Shift:
Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM Job Summary MS Companies is seeking a Quality Technician for a 3rd shift opportunity in Canal Winchester, OH. This role supports production by performing inspections, handling containment, tracking non-conforming material, and maintaining quality documentation. This is a good fit for someone with manufacturing quality experience who can work independently and communicate well across the floor. Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of quality experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive
  • Ability to inspect parts using quality standards, gauges, and fixtures
  • Basic understanding of charts, graphs, and quality data
  • Experience using computers for spreadsheets, reports, and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with production teams
  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience preferred Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of quality experience in an automotive environment
  • Familiarity with NCRs, containment, and root cause investigation
  • Understanding of Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, PQS, and KQCP
  • Experience updating inspection standards, quality alerts, or limit samples
  • Basic knowledge of injection molding and assembly processes
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 and
ISO 14001
standards Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on production parts using established standards
  • Support containment activity and verify sort effectiveness
  • Open, track, and close non-conformance reports
  • Communicate quality issues to production, leadership, and engineering
  • Label, repack, and move material as needed, including Oracle transactions
  • Maintain and update quality documents and reports Physical and Environment Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
  • Lift boxes and materials up to 20 pounds
  • Work on the production floor in a manufacturing environment
  • Handle tasks that require attention to detail and consistent pace INDQSS3
