Job Summary:
This position works within the Plant Department receiving mill deliveries and receipt of outside processing work orders. As the Receiver you will unload mill trucks, handle outside processing orders and receive all this material into the SSA inventory control system within our quality inspection process.

Job:

Job Function:
Forklift Operation Unloading of flatbed trucks and containers. Quality inspection of material received, both physical inspection as well as test report verification. Reading Test reports. Data entry into inventory system. Working to a production schedule, prioritizing and scheduling workload. Measurement of material using calibrated calipers and tape measures. Filling out first article receipt of material. Inventory stock management of material in warehouse. Status Work Orders with production code. Communicate with Quality and Operations Department on any quality issues.
Required Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent industry work experience. Computer skills Ability to communicate well with others. Good mathematical skills and spatial recognition. Self-motivated and can act on own initiative. Experience working to targets and deadlines. Can quickly learn in complex industry. Adaptable and have a positive attitude towards change. Motivated, communicative and goal oriented.
