About the
Job:
The Facility Support Specialist serves as the primary liaison between SpecialtyRx and partnered long-term care facilities. This role ensures seamless communication, timely issue resolution, and accurate data management to support the pharmacy's commitment to exceptional service and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and provide detailed information to Account Executive issues via Mediprocity, email, phone call, etc. Maintain accurate facility information (facility lists, backup lists, etc.) Complete Occurrence Reports on recurring issues to be evaluated by the Compliance Officer and shared with department heads. Identify trends in facility-related complaints to assist in internal pharmacy resolutions. Communicate with department heads and supervisors to assist in the delivery of specifically requested items. Handle emails and phone calls directly from facility administration and account executives. Annually update House Stock and MD lists for accuracy. Respond promptly to facility inquiries via Mediprocity, email, and phone to ensure timely issue resolution. Collaborate with Account Executives and department heads to coordinate delivery of requested medications and supplies. Track and identify patterns in facility-related concerns to assist in proactive process improvement. Maintain up-to-date facility lists, backup contacts, and other key records.
Qualifications:
Ohio Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician license (required). Experience in Long Term Care Pharmacy and customer service preferred. Courteous and polite phone skills. Computer literate. Detail oriented and organized. Must be able to multitask. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
