Job Description
Job Description The Quality Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. This role supports both internal and external quality processes, including audits, inspections, and approval procedures, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product integrity and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Include Plan, schedule, and coordinate quality functions such as scrap recordkeeping, non-conforming material reports, corrective actions, internal system audits, and control of suspect material Interpret engineering prints and develop inspection plans using appropriate gauges and accuracy standards Support quality engineers in auditing procedures for compliance and reporting deviations Conduct and assist with process verification audits Work with Customer Production Part Approval Process (CPPAP) Interpret and implement customer quality requirements Coordinate sample submissions and CPPAP documentation with relevant personnel Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams during the approval process Work with Supplier Production Part Approval Process (SPPAP) Communicate with suppliers regarding product quality verification and compliance Coordinate dimensional analysis of supplier parts and reject nonconforming products Maintain communication with suppliers, purchasing, and internal teams regarding product status and quality issues Use of gages, torque guns, wire brushes, and more Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of quality systems and inspection methodologies 2+ years experience in a quality role Auditing, inspection, gage use, and process verification experience Nice to Have Some exposure to CPPAP or
SPPAP CMM
experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hicksville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
