This position involves hands-on inspection, testing, and data analysis to maintain consistent product quality throughout production. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a solid understanding of measurement tools and inspection processes. Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of in-process, final-stage, domestic, and imported products
• Evaluate and process non-conforming material reports
• Conduct shipping audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Perform process capability studies and SPC data analysis, providing recommendations based on findings
• Set up measurement equipment and perform micro-analysis, including microhardness and carburization/decarburization testing

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous gauging experience and knowledge of optical comparators
• Basic knowledge of testing and measuring equipment
• Previous experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Tow motor experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
