About Old Souls Farms Old Souls Farm is a growing food processing and packaging company based in St. Paris, Ohio. About the role The Quality Clerk is responsible for supporting food safety, regulatory compliance, and product flow throughout the facility. To excel in this role you must be well organized and be able to easily communicate to fellow employees. You will be responsible for ensuring proper verification activities including document review including warehouse and production documents, product identification, and audit support. You will also need to upload exact information, provided to you, into the traceability system. What you'll do Input information into traceability system Verify Critical Control Point and Bill of Lading documentation against standard Label printer usage and trouble shooting Conduct facility audits as required Confirm material/product counts and drive forklift as required Other duties as assigned - complete tasks in different areas/departments if needed including but not limited to Production, Sanitation, and Warehouse Qualifications Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Adequately communicate issues and corrective actions effectively to others Must have, or be able to obtain HACCP and PCQI certifications Must be able to drive a forklift. Certification provided. Quality experience preferred Shipping and receiving experience preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Quality department preferred Shipping and receiving experience preferred Work Environment Office Other areas of the plant (wearing proper PPE) Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Ensure all assigned verification tasks are completed within indicated time frames Provide accurate inventory counts and usage to management Respond quickly and reliably to support plant as needed
