Job Summary:
Execute all required product inspections and tests to ensure quality standards are met for labels and functional die-cut materials. This role performs receiving, in-process, and final checks, accurately documents results, and promptly identifies and segregates non-conforming materials. Execute all required product inspections and tests to ensure quality standards are met for labels and functional die-cut materials. This role performs receiving, in-process, and final checks, accurately documents results, and promptly identifies and segregates non-conforming materials. Assists higher-level technicians with specialized testing when required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None. This is an hourly, non-exempt production support role.
Reports to:
Quality Control Lead (Day-to-day) /
Quality Control Manager Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional and visual inspections on incoming raw materials. Conduct in-process inspections at various stages of the printing and converting processes. Execute final inspections of finished products before shipment. Accurately measure parts using standard hand tools and specialized inspection equipment. Assist QC Technician II and Quality Engineering with executing basic PPAP measurement and revalidation tasks. Immediately identify, tag, and segregate any non-conforming material and alert the QC Lead or Manager.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year's experience in quality inspection or technical roles within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
