Full Job Description Position Summary:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of total quality by performing quality inspections and auditing processes and systems. Manage documents required for all operations. Train associates on activities required for the monitoring and measuring of product performance. Manage conformance activities under the direction of Leadership and/or Quality Engineer. Actively participate in problem solving. Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following: Calibrate/validate/repair tools - as determined by the performance competency. Provide assistance to manufacturing associates. Develop reports and charts for use during product builds. Maintain documentation according to all written procedures and work instructions. Document activities; provide replacement/loaner tools to ensure the quality management continues uninterrupted. Assist in writing/editing procedures, instructions and other manufacturing documentation. Work with program teams during launch process to learn the quality and processing requirements for new or changed products. Assist with studies such as capability studies, gage R&Rs and process improvement studies. Assist in trouble shooting and resolving check fixture and gage problems. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned gages. Actively participate in problem solving activities for internal and external quality issues and provide trending and nonconformance information to cell personnel as lessons are learned or to drive improvement. Train operators as required or requested by Quality Engineers and/or Leaders to ensure that personnel understand the inspection requirements for product and component parts. Perform audits of quality systems and final product as required to ensure conformance to standards and specifications. May be required to travel to component assembly plants or supplier component facilities. Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as assigned by the supervisor.

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience Proficient with Microsoft Applications Strong analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe technical activities to non-technical personnel
