Quality Technician Shift:
2nd Pay up to $24 (+10% shift premium) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Ensure in-process inspection and evaluation of data for both CMM and floor inspections to meet customer requirements. Create and maintain CMM programs that adhere to customer inspection requirements. Assist in creating documents, inspection routines, and capability studies for PPAP submissions. Organize and manage APQP documents that verify part inspection, process control, and revision levels including work instructions and audit preparation. Organize and control the gage calibration system and records for MSA studies, including Gage R&R. Analyze trends in data for continuous improvement of parts and processes. Prepare documents for product feasibility reviews as part of engineering support. Employ problem-solving techniques for root cause analysis in process improvements and customer complaints. Participate in projects supporting continuous quality and manufacturing process improvements. Essential Skills Proficiency in inspection and quality control techniques. Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM machines. Familiarity with PC-DMIS 3.5 or better programming software for CMM. Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T tolerances. Familiarity with stamping environments and measuring instruments used in stamping plants. Experience with 3D CAD and software such as Waypoint Global (APQP), AutoCAD, and Inventor. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Hexagon Brown & Sharpe CMM machines is a plus. Understanding of SPC collection and reports. Why Work Here? The company provides uniforms and operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 4 pm to 4:30 am, Monday through Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley City, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
