Position Summary :
A Quality Inspector performs an array of functions including but not limited to performing Quality and Engineering inspections of products and components.
Essential Responsibilities :
Enabling and disabling the inspection demands for incoming products Perform dimensional, geometric, and cosmetic quality inspections with coordinate measuring systems, basic hand gauges, and ascertaining compliance to stated specifications Manage nonconformance discoveries and follow established processes for segregation, quarantine, reaction plan and final disposition Coordinate with SQD to manage outside vendors and internal departments to resolve NCM issues Monitor Supplier complaints and corrective actions to reduce NCMs and improve the PT Tech Business Quality Management System with SQD Process Improve the effectiveness of our process and quality objectives Complete, utilize and train on required Quality Process training initiatives Creating, maintaining, and publishing Quality metrics and statistics to team conducting supplier evaluations Perform Internal QMS Audits as a qualified Auditor SAP goods movement reconciliations
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's degree Proficient in Microsoft and SAP 3+ years' experience with inspection or quality auditing Familiar with measurement software (CMM, Romer, etc.) Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering specifications Basic Mathematical Skills required with focus on Manufacturing Statistical methodologies Must be eligible to work in the
