Sections Specialist

JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform hydrostatic testing on air exchanger components and assemblies according to established procedures and standards.

Operate hydrostatic testing equipment and instrumentation with precision and care.

Conduct visual inspections of components before and after testing to identify any defects or irregularities.

Record test results accurately and maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures and outcomes.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot any issues identified during testing and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Maintain testing equipment and tools in good working condition through regular maintenance and calibration.

Assist in the development and refinement of testing procedures to enhance efficiency and effectivenessOther duties as assigned/directed by supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

High school diploma or equivalent preferred6 months to 1 year experience in manufacturing, Heat Exchanger industry preferredCertified to operate crane and manlifts or ability to obtain certificationsMust be able to teach Tube Roller As during tubing and Hydrostatic processes.

Must be responsible for tube projections and roll specs.

Must know how to Tube roll and rework any section.

Must know how to tighten plugs and Hydrostatic equipment.

Must be able to identify all defects in accordance with Eads Production orders.

Must be able to teach Tube roller Bs the logistics of Hydrostatic Testing. (pressurize/depressurizing)Must know all tolerances and specifications regarding Tube rolling and Hydrostatic testing.
