Direct Hire Job Order #: 124379 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CMM Operator / Programmer to join a precision aerospace manufacturing team in Oklahoma City, OK . This role is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment to inspect machined components, verify dimensional accuracy, and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards. The ideal CMM Operator / Programmer has extensive experience with precision inspection, GD&T interpretation, and AS9100 quality requirements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Required Experience & Skills Experience operating and programming CMM equipment required Familiarity with FaroArm and Calypso software preferred Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation Experience working within AS9100 quality standards

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong documentation and reporting skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Essential Duties & Responsibilities Program and operate CMM equipment to perform precision inspections of machined components Perform detailed dimensional inspections using advanced metrology equipment Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Ensure compliance with aerospace specifications and internal quality standards Identify non-conforming parts and communicate findings to production and engineering teams Support root cause investigations and corrective actions as needed Maintain calibration awareness and proper operation of inspection equipment Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to improve processes Follow all company procedures, safety requirements, and quality protocols Preferred Qualifications Experience with FaroArm portable measurement systems Proficiency with Calypso programming software Aerospace manufacturing background Experience supporting first article inspections and AS9102 documentation Technical training or certifications in metrology or quality inspection Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing inspections Ability to lift and position parts and inspection fixtures as needed Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity for precision measurement work Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and production areas Work Environment Precision aerospace manufacturing environment Climate-controlled inspection and production areas Collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams Quality-focused environment requiring exceptional attention to detail and consistency Why You'll Want This Opportunity Direct hire position with competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work with advanced metrology equipment and aerospace technology Monday-Friday schedule with overtime opportunities Collaborative, quality-driven work environment Excellent opportunity for long-term career growth in aerospace manufacturing
