Job Description
Leaf Forge is a cutting-edge tobacco processing facility based in Pryor, Oklahoma. With construction completed in 2024, this facility spans 250,000 square feet and is adjacent to its parent company, Xcaliber International. This state-of-the-art processing facility employs advanced manufacturing and processing technologies to transform raw tobacco into the finished product used in cigarette production. With over twenty years of experience in manufacturing, Leaf Forge's parent company, Xcaliber International, has garnered a reputation as being one of the top employers in northeastern Oklahoma. The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician in a tobacco primary setting is responsible for conducting tests and inspections to ensure that tobacco products meet specified quality and regulatory standards. This role involves routine sampling, testing, and data analysis, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with quality assurance protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished tobacco products. Collect and prepare samples for analysis according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Operate basic laboratory equipment and perform standard tests. Record and document test results accurately and in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining laboratory cleanliness and organization. Follow all safety protocols and quality standards, including ISO requirements. Participate in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities.REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or an associate's degree in a scientific field is a plus. 0-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or laboratory setting. Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BENEFITS
